Christmas at Rose Hill Farm Review

81m5j3jLyaL._SL1500_

A sweet Amish romance about Bess who is going to be married to Amos, but she still has feelings for a long lost love Billy! Working with their roses they discover one they don’t know so her father calls in a rose rustler, who turns out to be Billy! Even though he says he is not interested in her anymore she is torn on what to do about her wedding!

The whole thing about rose rustling was a new concept to me, I really enjoy a story that also leaves you with some knowledge of things you didn’t know.

I received this book from Revell Books for an  honest review!

Surprised by Love Review

512-61vhfkL._SY344_BO1,204,203,200_I received this book for an honest review! This is the third book in this series and I had not read the other books! It would be better to read the first two books! This book is about a girl who was on the heavier side and wore glasses. She just returned from her time in paris all grown up and beautiful! This story reminds me of one of my favorite movies, Sabrina! Now she finds herself drawn to Bram, now as a man instead of an older brother! But then there is Devon who was one who always made her cry, but now he sees her as someone he would like to know! There are other things going on in this book too, and it would have been better to have read the first two books! It’s great how she weaves the gospel through her book!

From the Back Cover

She can turn the head of the man who spurned her–but can she turn his heart?

When Megan McClare left San Francisco to study in Paris, no one would accuse her of being poised and pretty. But on the other side of the Atlantic, this wallflower blossomed into a beauty with big dreams. When she returns to California and accepts an internship at the district attorney’s office, she’s thrilled that her life is taking shape. But the exciting opportunity quickly loses its glow when she discovers she’ll be working alongside Devin Caldwell, who mercilessly mocked her at school–and with whom she was hopelessly enamored.

Bram Hughes is the best friend to whom Megan has always turned for support and advice. But when she seeks his counsel about working with Devin Caldwell, Bram’s vision is clouded by his sudden unwelcome attraction to a girl he had always thought of as a little sister. He advises forgiveness, but can he forgive himself for pushing the woman he loves into the arms of another man?
